Need help in the home?
Here’s how VAS can help:
- Senior transportation: clients can be driven, by volunteer drivers, to medical appointments, financial and attorney appointments, social events, the grocery store/food bank, and pharmacies.
- Running errands: a volunteer will run an errand for you to the grocery store, pharmacy, food bank, etc.
- Grocery shopping: a volunteer will go with you to the grocery store, or will pick up your list and go for you.
- Friendly Visits: a fully-vetted volunteer will visit you weekly in your home.
- Friendly Phone Calls: volunteers will call you weekly, by phone, for a friendly conversation.
- Light yard work and limited handyman services
*These services are offered at no cost to the client, after initial application process
