Volunteers to Help You in Your Home

Need help in the home?
Here’s how VAS can help:

  • Senior transportation: clients can be driven, by volunteer drivers, to medical appointments, financial and attorney appointments, social events, the grocery store/food bank, and pharmacies.
  • Running errands: a volunteer will run an errand for you to the grocery store, pharmacy, food bank, etc.
  • Grocery shopping: a volunteer will go with you to the grocery store, or will pick up your list and go for you.
  • Friendly Visits: a fully-vetted volunteer will visit you weekly in your home.
  • Friendly Phone Calls: volunteers will call you weekly, by phone, for a friendly conversation.
  • Light yard work and limited handyman services

*These services are offered at no cost to the client, after initial application process
